Description
Join Florida RTAP for a one-hour interactive webinar focused on the interpersonal skills vital for effective transit management. For rural transit agencies, clear communication and strong leadership are the backbones of a safe and efficient operation. This session will dive into the “how-to” of building a high-performing team by mastering two critical leadership pillars: assigning responsibilities and holding team members accountable. As transit systems often operate with lean staffs, every role is crucial. Participants will learn practical strategies to move beyond simply giving orders to effectively delegating tasks based on skill sets and operational needs. We will also address the often-challenging task of accountability, providing a framework for setting clear expectations and delivering constructive feedback that fosters a culture of “Safety Ahead of Schedule.”
