This manual provides safety-sensitive employees with an overview of the DOT drug and alcohol testing program. Included are explanations of the urine collection process, breath alcohol testing process, the actions that constitute an employee’s refusal to test and the consequences of positive results. The Drug and Alcohol Education section describes the detrimental effects that the five prohibited drugs and alcohol can have on the mind and body. This manual is intended as an aid in meeting the 60 minutes of required Employee Drug Awareness training. Download Manual
